Vegan dark chocolate mousse

Vegan dark chocolate mousse is like a match made in heaven for those who love natural sweets.

Sugars, if consumed in right doses, are invigorating and they help the good mood.

If the desserts are made with really natural ingredients, like these delicious vegan dark chocolate mousse, become even more pleasant to indulge in a sweet break.

Organic Silken tofu, one of the key of this recipe, is made according to a Japanese recipe. Available in organic stores, it is a source of protein, calcium, iron, magnesium. Its characteristic is to be incredibly soft, silky, therefore, perfectly suited to the preparation of desserts like this.

Cherry jam, mixed inside the dough, is the key to giving fresh and special flavor to a quick, nutritious and tasty recipe.

Vegan dark chocolate mousse: Ingredients

Serves 2

100 g (3½ oz) natural silk tofu

100 g (3½ oz) raw dark chocolate 80%

1 tbsp raw cocoa powder

100 g (3½ oz) raw coconut sugar

50 g (2 oz) brown rice milk

2 tbsp sugar free cherry jam

150 g (5 oz) rice whipped cream

Vegan dark chocolate mousse: Method

  1. Drain the tofu and crumble it.
  2. In a blender, place the tofu, chocolate, cocoa powder, raw sugar, rice milk and mix until the dough is creamy.
  3. Pour the tofu cream into a glass. Add 1 tbsp of cherry jam for each cup and layering with rice whipped cream. Serve cold.
