Villa Le Corti

VILLA LE CORTI – TUSCANY – ITALY

Villa Le Corti is the historic estate in the Chianti Classico area of the Corsini Princes, a place where the landscapes of the Tuscan hills, made up of vineyards and olive groves, combine with the millenary history of one of the most important Italian families.
In this generous land, between Florence and Siena, Duccio Corsini and his family produce Chianti Classico wine and oil, according to the dictates of organic agriculture.
The more than 250 hectares of the Villa Le Corti estate include 49 hectares of vineyards, from which Sangiovese is obtained for the production of Chianti Classico and IGT Principe Corsini wines (Don Tommaso, Cortevecchia, Le Corti and Zac) and 73 hectares of olive groves for the production of Extra virgin olive oil from Chianti Classico Dop.
The only one of its kind is the historic cellar, built in 1600, and arranged on three underground levels that wind through a system of rooms and paths created under the Villa and its garden.
Throughout the year it is possible to organize, upon reservation, guided tours of the seventeenth-century mansion, the historic cellar, the oil mill and the orciaia. The visits end with the tasting of Principe Corsini products, which can be purchased directly in the shop.
