DE MULLER – SPAIN

Founded in 1851 by Sisters Auguste de Muller and Ruinart de Brimont, a member of a well-known family of Alsatian winemakers, the company is one of the most prosperous international wineries.
For four generations the company has belonged to the De Muller family and, since 1995, has belonged to the Martorell family, Catalan traders eager to obtain the best quality of wine, respecting the tradition that has been the company’s legacy for decades.
The cellar is equipped with modern processing equipment, stainless steel tanks, American and French oak barrels and barrels and oak of other origins.
The company covers 200 hectares of vineyards where white varieties such as Macabeo, Moscato d’Alessandria, Sauvignon Bianco, Garnacha Bianca and Chardonnay are grown, as well as red varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Garnacha and Pinot Nero. Gi plants have a capacity of four million liters.
Among the Designations of Origin such as “Tarragona” and “Priorat” the traditional “Vino da Messa” must be included, responsible for our reputation of the company in the world.
Achiebda exports 60% of its production to international markets and 40% for national needs.
