Pinot Noir 2020 – Ryder Estate

Pinot Noir 2020 - Ryder Estate
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Pinot Noir
Variety composition: 100% Pinot Noir.
Denomination: Monterey – California.
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red colour, consistent.
The nose opens with a wide and intense range of aromas. The floral scents are intertwined with addictive fruity aromas of black cherry, pomegranate and dried plum. The olfactory bouquet is completed by hints of sweet spices, such as vanilla, notes of coffee powder and a delicate nuance of roasting.
On the palate, it is well balanced in its parts. The tannic texture is evident but well smooth and silky, good taste-olfactory persistence with an aftertaste of ripe berries and rhubarb.
A wine that reflects the terroir of origin with its softness and elegance.
