Variety composition: Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon.
Alcoholic strength: 14.5%.
Vintage: 2017.
Denomination: Bolgheri D.O.C.
Production area: Castagneto Carducci (Bolgheri DOC production area)
Climate: Mediterranean climate, microclimate characterized by the proximity of the sea and the protection of the Metalliferous hills to the east, by mild winters, hot, dry and breezy summers thanks to the sea breezes.
Soil structure: loose, deep, gravelly and well-drained soils.
Plant density: 5,500 plants per hectare.
Training system: spurred cordon and guyot.
Average age of the vines: 2000 plants.
Yield per hectare: 60 q / ha.
Vinification: manual harvest and selection of the bunches. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (T ° = 28 ° c). Malolactic fermentation in the same tanks.
Aging: 12 months in 3rd and 4th passage French oak barriques and 12 months in bottle.
