Tasting Notes
Upon visual examination the sample is limpid, of an intense ruby red color with purple reflections, of good consistency.
On the nose it gives a scent of violet, followed by hints of ripe dark berry fruit reminiscent of blackberry and dried plum. The rich and intense bouquet of perfumes is completed by notes of black pepper, cinnamon and a nuance of licorice.
The sip is harmonious, well balanced in its components. Its structure is good, with a well-smoothed tannic texture, which gives a fairly persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit accompanied by a nuance of sweet spices.
Tried in combination with fillet of beef with cardoncelli mushrooms.
