VIÑA ERRAZURIZ – CHILE

Viña Errázuriz was founded in 1870 by Maximiano Errázuriz. Maximiano planted the first French vines in the Aconcagua Valley.
Located about 90 kilometers north of Santiago, the capital of Chile, the traditional Aconcagua Valley is the last of the country’s transverse valleys. Its basin is shaped by the Aconcagua River, which flows from the Andes mountain range into the Pacific Ocean.
Mild Mediterranean climate, characterized by a long dry season and rains, especially in winter, easy access to water for irrigation, soils of volcanic origin, make Aconcagua a true viticultural paradise.
