Wine: Perivleptos Rosso 2018
Variety composition: 50% Mavroudi, 50% Agiorgitiko.
Denomination: I.G.P. Laconia.
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2018.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color, with moderate orange reflections, consistent.
The nose offers the typical hints of the blend, where the fruity component is dominant: currant, blackberry and durone cherry. The fan is enriched with roasted notes and spices such as vanilla and cardamom. Closing with a nuance of cocoa.
The sip is medium, with a tannin that is not at all aggressive even if present, the acid component is good, the taste-olfactory persistence of ripe fruit is good.
A Greek wine that I tried with a plate of lasagna alla bolognese, I must say a perfect combination.
