The company is located in Argentina, on high altitude and semi-desert lands, at the foot of the Cordillera: the Uco Valley. This unexplored land is located in the Chacayes district, the name that the cellar owner will give to his great cuvée.
A pioneer in this valley, he built his winery, the Bodega Piedra Negra, in the heart of 200 hectares of virgin land.
Located at the foot of the Andes, the winery offers wine tourism visits on horseback and appreciates the natural biodiversity due to our environmental practices. The Uco Valley is located 80 km south of the city of Mendoza, along Route 40, a mythical road that crosses the Cordillera from north to south of the country.
The Uco Valley is rich in its agricultural and deep soils. The rivers that descend from the Andes cordillera have created alluvial soils of volcanic gravel and granite, adding to the altitude and aridity, the rigor of a poor and filtering soil.
