Simposio Riserva 2017 - Tenuta Trerose
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Simposio
Variety composition: 100% Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile).
Denomination: Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva D.O.C.G..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2017.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color, good consistency.
On the nose it appears elegant, of quality with a varied range of scents. The floral notes are followed by aromas of ripe and candied fruit. The bouquet of intriguing aromas is completed by notes of sweet spices such as cinnamon and cloves, ending with hints of coffee powder.
The sip is important, supported by important tannins, but overall not intrusive and well smoothed. The finish is quite persistent with an aftertaste of sweet spices and hints of candied peel.
A sample that tells the story of the territory of origin.
