Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2018 - Capanna
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
Variety composition: 100% Sangiovese.
Denomination: Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2018.
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a bright, intense carmine red color with light garnet textures, with good consistency.
Upon olfactory examination it presents a wide, intense and fine quality range of aromas. The hints of slightly dried violet are followed by intense hints of small red berries and hard cherries, embellished with notes of undergrowth, sweet and spicy spices with a final nuance of medicinal herbs.
The sip is important and rich, as in the style of the company. Freshness and flavor give elegance, supported by a tannin that is not at all intrusive. Good persistent aromatic taste of fruit jam and freshly ground black pepper.
A reserve that is an expression of the company style and territory of origin.
