Grattamacco 2021 - Grattamacco
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Grattamacco
Variety composition: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 15% Sangiovese.
Denomination: Bolgheri Superiore D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2021.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, ruby red with light carmine hues, good consistency.
On the nose it presents a broad and fine quality olfactory bouquet. The floral notes are followed by addictive and intense fruity notes of small red berries, dried plum and blackberry jam. The olfactory range is completed by notes of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub and a nuance of freshly ground coffee.
The sip is important, freshness and flavor blend in unison, supported by a perfectly integrated tannic texture. Good olfactory taste persistence thanks to a persistent aftertaste of medicinal herbs and spicy notes.
A wine that tells the production style of the property.
