Costa d’Amalfi Rosato 2024 – Marisa Cuomo
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Costa d’Amalfi Rosato
Varietal composition: 50% Piedirosso (locally called pere e ‘palummo) 50% Aglianico.
Denomination: Costa d’Amalfi D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 13% vol.
Vintage: 2024.
Serving temperature: 12° – 14° C.

Tasting notes:
Crystal-clear, it is characterized by a cherry pink color of moderate intensity but very bright, with good consistency.
On the nose it opens with a wide range of aromas and fine quality. The delicate floral notes are followed by intense hints of small red berries, currants, wild strawberries, embellished with notes of cherry and pomegranate. The variegated olfactory blanket is completed by hints of Mediterranean herbs and a delicate mineral note in the finish.
On the palate it is elegant and structured. Sapidity and freshness intertwine perfectly supported by a persistent aftertaste of fresh fruits and a delicate iodine note.
A rosé wine outside the traditional schemes, a champion that uniquely identifies the production style of the company.
