Tasting Notes
Clear, lively ruby red color not too intense with slightly garnet hues, consistent.
On the nose the sample is intense, complex and fine. The following hints are highlighted: floral, fruity, spicy and toasted. Elegant opening of slightly withered red flowers, followed by notes of dark berry fruits reminiscent of sour cherries and cherries in alcohol, but also myrtle, cassis and blood orange, spicy aromas of cardamom and rhubarb, followed by toasted hints that they refer to freshly roasted coffee powder and leather, balsamic finish with woody notes.
Intense and varied aromas, balance to the taste to be refined, but overall more than pleasant, good flavor balanced by alcohol, the intensity and persistence of taste olfactory is important.
It is recommended in combination with rustic bread with Tuscan-style liver terrine.
