Grapes: 95% Sangiovese, 5% Syrah.
Vineyard: Sterpeti, Tizzi and Poggio Bestiale vineyards.
Type of soil: medium mixture rich in skeleton.
Position: 150 and 250 meters above sea level.
Exposure: East-West.
Plant density: 6400 plants / hectare.
Training system: bilateral spurred cordon.
Planting year: 1998-2003.
Average production per plant: 800 – 1000 grams.
Number of bottles produced: 120,000.
Wine: organic.
Average harvest period: last ten days of September.
Vinification technique: soft destemming-pressing, fermentation at controlled temperature in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days.

Tasting Notes
Clear, ruby ​​red color with light garnet reflections, consistent.
The olfactory examination highlights floral, fruity and toasted hints. Notes of red flowers such as peony and violet, dark berry fruits such as blackberry and plum, closing with a note of sweet tobacco.
The sample is fresh to the sip, with a moderate tannic texture, balanced in its components and quite harmonious.
It is recommended in combination with pici with wild boar sauce.
