Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel.
Maceration: 2 days at 10° C – 4/6 days at 28°-30° C.
During maceration: 4 pumpovers / day open and punching 4 times / day.
Malolactic fermentation: in stainless steel.
Aged: 12 months in used barriques.
Refinement in the bottle: 6 months.
Limpid, ruby red with garnet reflections, consistent.
The range of aromas is wide: floral, fruity, spicy and herbaceous. Hints of red flowers reminiscent of licine and lavender, followed by fruity notes of blueberry, blackberry and currant. Delicate hints of curry, cloves and nutmeg, close the bouquet of aromas with a scent of cut grass and fern.
The taste is fresh, with a moderate tannic texture, the aftertaste of sweet spices is quite persistent. Overall a fine quality sample.
It is recommended in combination with grilled steak with porcini mushroom cap.
