Tasting Notes
Clear, purplish red color with ruby reflections, consistent.
On the olfactory examination, the sample shows a fairly complex, intense and fine quality range of aromas. The sample opens with floral sensations of peony and tulip, followed by an aroma of red berried fruits reminiscent of durone cherry and raspberry; spicy finish of vanilla and black pepper. Slight hint of licorice.
The sip is fresh, quite persistent, on the whole it is balanced in its components. The aftertaste of sweet spices is quite persistent.
It is recommended in combination with a roast veal stuffed with the queen.
