Cava Maria Rigol Ordi

CAVA MARIA RIGOL ORDI – SPAIN

In the early 1980s, Maria Rigol Ordi decided to start producing her own cavas. Together with his son Maria Rigol he starts a discreet production in her home cellar.
Maria Rigol has been closely linked to the world of the quarry since childhood. Her grandfather, Modest Rigol Tubella, who was dedicated to the sale of wines, had already been introduced in 1897 to the world of the production of what was then known as “champagne”.
The Cavas of the company express the desire to preserve a family heritage and the desire to produce a quality product, recovering the traditional blends of the Penedés varieties and betting on long aging.
