GROSJEAN VINS – VALLE D’AOSTA – ITALY

“For many decades I have been coming to Valle d’Aosta driven by the desire to know its enological history. Each time, there is always a new corner of these mountains to discover. There is no more beautiful place in the world than these valleys”.
The words of Neal Rosenthal, our partner and friend in the US adventure, best express what drives us every day in our work.
“Our vision – Grosjean Organic Wines in Valle d’Aosta: We are fortunate to be able to live and work in one of the most precious pearls on the planet and the amazement we feel, every day, in experiencing the nature that surrounds us pushes us to give maximum to distil as much beauty from so much wonder.
How can we live in such deep contact with this territory without burning with the desire to preserve and enhance it? Grandfather Dauphin, in his heart, understood this when, already 50 years ago, I did not use pesticides and acaricides. Our fathers, with great courage in 2011, wanted to shout it out to the world, working hard to obtain organic certification. Convinced of a thought: you need to have strength and firmness in making it happen.
So, with the third generation of winemakers and the implementation of the photovoltaic system (to give an example) we wanted to give substance and continuity to this safeguard work”.
