Basilisco

BASILISCO – BASILICATA – ITALY

Basilisco was born in the early nineties, immediately aiming for the highest quality, both in the vineyard and in the cellar and, in a few years, it became a jewel of the southern wine scene.

At the beginning of 2011, the Feudi di San Gregorio company decided to start a project for the recovery of the ancient lava caves in the “Shesh”, the historic Park of the Cantine di Barile, relaunching with conviction the bet made on this area of exceptional viticultural value. With its splendid cellars in the tuff and its vineyards in the most suitable districts of the area, Basilisco completes this project. Thus, a space of enchanting beauty was born in the historic heart of Aglianico del Vulture.
