Tasting Notes
Limpid, intense ruby red color, consistent.
On the olfactory examination it is expressed with a variegated and well-defined range of aromas. Floral scent of violet, followed by a scent of ripe dark berry fruit: blackberry, blueberry and durone cherry. They close with hints of vanilla and a hint of freshly ground black pepper.
On the palate the sample is harmonious, the tannin is silky and well polished. The sip is full, balanced in its components, with an aftertaste of ripe fruit reminiscent of cherry.
It is recommended in combination with particularly succulent game dishes.
