Varietal: 100% Pecorino.
Denomination: Offida Pecorino D.O.C.G..
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Serving temperature: 8°- 10°C.
Crystal-clear, pale straw yellow color with light golden reflections, good consistency.
The olfactory examination opens with a varied and complex bouquet of aromas: floral notes reminiscent of white and yellow wildflowers such as acacia, daisy and broom. Followed by hints of white and yellow-fleshed fruits such as golden apples, thigh pears and tropical fruits. The closure is with a delicate herbaceous note of aromatic herbs.
The sip is pleasant, supported by a good freshness and acidity which, in unison, invite to a new sip. Well balanced, with a fairly persistent aftertaste of tropical fruit associated with a salty nuance.
Tried in combination with a mixed fried fish.
