Wine: La Montesa
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Denomination: D.O. Rioja.
Grapes: 100% Garnacha.
Serving temperature: 14°-16°C.
Limpid, with a not very intense ruby red color, of good consistency.
The nose is quite complex, intense and of fine quality. Prevail hints of freshly picked berries such as currants and strawberries. The range of aromas is completed by notes of ground black pepper and hints of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub.
The sip is fresh, the tannins elegant and with a good olfactory taste persistence of fresh red-fleshed fruit. Sample that expresses finesse and elegance of Spanish wines, with a style that recalls the French one.
A sample that tells the story of a land with a great winemaking tradition: Rioja.
