Il Borro 2019 – Il Borro

Il Borro 2019 - Il Borro
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Il Borro
Variety composition: 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah.
Denomination: I.G.T. Toscana.
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a carmine red color embellished with very light garnet textures, consistent.
The olfactory range is complex, with intense and quality notes. It opens with floral notes reminiscent of a potpourri of red flowers, integrated with hints of ripe fruit almost like jam. The olfactory experience is enriched by hints of fine spices and aromas of cocoa powder and a delicate nuance of cigar box.
The sip is important, rich, and perfectly balanced in its components. An important, silky, addictive tannin is highlighted, embellished with a persistent aftertaste of cherry in alcohol, giving the taster an elegant and velvety sip.
