Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Polvanera 17
Variety composition: 100% Primitivo.
Denomination: Primitivo di Manduria D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 16,5% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense purple red color with light ruby highlights, consistent.
Upon olfactory examination it offers a range of complex and fine quality aromas. It opens with hints of rose and wild violet, intertwined with a scent of fruity notes reminiscent of small berries, dried plum and cherry jam. The varied olfactory bouquet is completed by hints of undergrowth, liquorice stick and a delicate balsamic note.
Important sip, supported by an elegant and well-smoothed tannin and a nice acidity. Good taste-olfactory persistence with an intense, persistent aftertaste of spices and ripe fruit.
