Tasting Notes
Limpid, carmine red in color with a light garnet color texture, quite consistent.
It opens with a broad, intense and fine quality olfactory range. Floral scents of iris and violet combine with aromas of dark pulp fruit such as currants and corn cherries. The olfactory bouquet is completed by evident notes of fine spices such as vanilla and cinnamon, aromas of freshly ground coffee and a delicate balsamic nuance in the finish.
The sip is important, rich, concentrated. Well balanced in its components, it is striking for its important but well-smooth tannic texture. Good olfactory taste persistence reminiscent of morello cherry enriched with spices.
A wine of great pleasure and elegance.
