Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Kiobu
Variety composition: 80% Carignano, 15% Cannonau, 5% Bovale.
Denomination: Isola dei Nuraghi I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2021.
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color, good consistency.
The bouquet of aromas is broad and of fine quality. It opens with floral notes that recall a potpourri of moderately withered red flowers, followed by enveloping fruity notes of morello cherry, cassis and blackberry. The rich olfactory range is completed by notes of undergrowth, hints of spicy spices and a balsamic nuance in the finish.
The sip is structured, well balanced in its components, supported by an important tannin, but well polished. With a persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit.
A wine that expresses the terroir of origin.
