Faro 2016 - Palari
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Faro
Variety composition: 60% Nerello mascalese, 20% Nerello cappuccio 15% Nocera, 5% others.
Denomination: Faro D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2016.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, ruby red in color with evident garnet reflections, with good consistency.
The olfactory bouquet is rich and intense. The floral scents are followed by aromas of small red berries: currant, blueberry and wild strawberry jam. The exam is completed by enveloping hints of hot and sweet spices, supported by a finish with a hint of mint.
The sip is soft and velvety. Well balanced in its parts it gives a long and persistent aftertaste of black cherry and a mineral note.
An elegant and very pleasant wine.
