Balente 2018 - Carboni
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Balente
Variety composition: 34% Bovale, 33% Cannonau, 33% Monica.
Denomination: Mandrolisai Rosso Superiore D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength 15% vol.
Vintage: 2018.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, bright carmine red, good consistency.
The nose opens with floral hints of violet, followed by a fruity scent that recalls the aromas of red berries and dried plum. The olfactory range is completed by hints of sweet spices, vanilla first and foremost, and a light nuance of orange in the finish.
The sip is important, enveloping. Good tannic texture, which is important, well-smoothed and silky. With a persistent fruity aftertaste embellished with balsamic hints.
A wine that tells the story of its territory of origin.
