Variety composition: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Denomination: D.O.C. Friuli Isonzo.
Municipality of production: San Lorenzo (Gorizia).
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2016.
Soil: calcareous gravelly plateau (60 meters above sea level).
Average age of the vines: 25 years.
Training system: Guyot 5,200 vines / ha.
Production: 50 hl / ha.
Vineyard: cultivated with organic fertilization and integrated phytosanitary defense (as per EU legislation) with the abolition of chemical weeding.
Harvest period: By hand with careful selection of the bunches.
Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks (20°-22° C), combined stainless steel / wood maturation on the fine deposit for 11 months with frequent bâtonnage. Bottling and bottle aging for at least 12 months.

Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, bright straw yellow color with golden reflections, consistent.
On the nose the sample is intense, complex and fine. The bouquet of scents is: floral, fruity, herbaceous and mineral. Hints of fresh white flowers such as boxwood, yellow and tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, mown grass, tomato leaf, citrus hints of grapefruit and apple, flint and gunpowder.
On the palate the sample is balanced in its parts, intense and quite persistent with a fine quality citrus aftertaste.
It is recommended to combine linguine with seafood.
