Tasting Notes
In the glass the sample is clear, of an intense ruby red color with imperceptible textures of grenades, of good consistency.
On the nose the olfactory bouquet is broad and complex, with hints: floral, fruity, toasted and spicy. Hints of delicately withered red flowers, notes of dark berry fruits reminiscent of currant and blackberry, an important note of wild strawberry. Followed by hints of sweet noble spices and aromas of cigar boxes and roasted and ground coffee.
The sip is fresh, supported by a good acidic shoulder and an important but well-smoothed and silky tannin. The wine is balanced in its components, intense and very persistent with an aftertaste reminiscent of ripe fruit.
It is recommended in combination with a grilled beef steak.
