Tasting Notes
Upon visual examination the wine is limpid, of an almost impenetrable intense ruby red, with good consistency.
On the nose, the range of aromas is quite complex: floral, fruity and spicy. Opening with hints of slightly withered red flowers, followed by a scent of fruity notes reminiscent of small berries such as currant, blueberry and ripe cherry in alcohol. Closing with hints of spices reminiscent of vanilla, cardamom and cinnamon. Light balsamic nuance.
The sip is opulent, with velvety and silky tannins, fairly balanced in its components. The aftertaste is quite persistent and recalls a ripe fruit, cherry, closing, as in the olfactory examination, with a slight balsamic note.
