Tasting Notes
Limpid, very intense ruby red color, consistent.
The range of its aromas is quite complex and intense. It opens with hints of withered red flowers, followed by aromas of small dark berry fruits reminiscent of currant and blueberry. Notes of sweet spices and freshly ground coffee powder.
The sip is pleasant, with a captivating tannic component on the whole well polished. Sample of fine quality, it gives a persistent aftertaste of vanilla accompanied by a note of black pepper.
Tried in combination with a risotto with sausage, mushrooms and porcini mushrooms.
