Limpid, with an intense purplish red color, good consistency.
The nose shows a wide range of hints. Floral notes, associated with hints of ripe berries and aromas of cherries in jam. Followed by hints of sweet spices with a finish reminiscent of Kentucky tobacco.
The sip is well structured, with a moderately aggressive tannin, but pleasant overall. Good persistence of aromatic taste with an evident aftertaste of spices and chocolate stick.
Tried in combination with a veal roulade stuffed in the oven.
