Domaine Sol Payré

DOMAINE SOL PAYRÉ – FRANCE

The history of the cellar begins in 1913. A long history which, over the decades, has led to the birth of a second cellar, in the heart of the vineyards, still in Elne but on the hills of St Martin.
In 2005, the first vinification took place in this new cellar.
In the same year, the winery began organic production. No pesticides. Working the land from spring to autumn, with plowing on all plots to remove the grass in the row. Chemical fertilizers are replaced by organic fertilizers that are healthier for the soil. The treatments used today are based on Bordeaux mixture and sulfur.
