Sauvignon Blanc 2022 – Lawson’s Dry Hills

Sauvignon Blanc 2022 - Lawson's Dry Hills
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Sauvignon Blanc
Variety composition: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Denomination: Marlborough District.
Alcoholic strength: 13% vol.
Vintage: 2022.
Serving temperature: 8° – 10° C.

Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, with a lively straw yellow colour, good consistency.
On the nose it is an effluvia of floral and fruity scents intertwined with delicate notes of spices. The fruity scents prevail, hints of citrus fruits, nectarine, pear drumstick embellished with notes of lime and freshly ground green pepper.
The sip is very fresh and very pleasant. The aftertaste is persistent: with intriguing citrus notes corroborated by delicate mineral hints.
A Sauvignon Blanc expression of the Marlborough region. A wine to start getting to know this fascinating wine-growing area of New Zealand.
