Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a lively, consistent carmine red colour.
On the nose it is a riot of broad, intense and rare quality aromas. The traditional floral notes contrast with addictive fruity scents: small red fruits, blackberry jam, dried plum. The complex olfactory bouquet is completed by hints of cigar box and an engaging note of Trinitario cocoa powder.
The sip is full, rich, satisfying, perfectly balanced in its components. The tannic texture is linear, almost silky, supported by a very persistent aftertaste of morello cherry and liquorice liqueur.
