Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Bacucco di Suveraia
Variety composition: 75% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot.
Denomination: Monteregio di Massa Marittima D.O.C..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2020.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color, good consistency.
The nose presents a broad olfactory bouquet of fine quality. It opens with floral notes reminiscent of a potpourri of red flowers, delicate hints of ripe fruit intertwine, small dark berries prevail, such as blackcurrants and blackberries. A note of hard cherry is also highlighted. An addictive nuance of vanilla completes the olfactory range.
The sip is important, well balanced in its parts. The tannic texture is good, not intrusive at all, supported by a persistent aftertaste of fruit and sweet spices.
A sample of structure, elegant and very pleasant, to drink immediately and after a further period of refinement: a long-lived wine, a pleasant discovery.
