Petrignone 2021 – Tre Monti

Petrignone 2021 - Tre Monti
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Petrignone
Variety composition: 100% Sangiovese di Romagna.
Denomination: Romagna D.O.C. Sangiovese Superiore Riserva.
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2021.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, bright ruby red in color, good consistency.
In the glass it releases a fine quality and overall broad and enveloping olfactory range. Intense red fruit aromas and notes of spicy spices are added to traditional floral scents: freshly ground black peppercorns.
The sip is soft, characterized by an enveloping freshness. The alcoholic part is important, supported by a significant and well-smoothed tannin. The spicy aftertaste is pleasant and quite persistent. A balanced and elegant sample.
