Franciacorta Brut Giovanni Mingotti Riserva 2016 - Priore
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Brut Giovanni Mingotti Riserva
Variety composition: 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Nero.
Denomination: Franciacorta D.O.C.G..
Alcoholic strength: 12,5% vol.
Vintage: 2016.
Serving temperature: 6° – 8° C.

Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, straw yellow tending towards golden with an elegant and persistent perlage.
On the nose it is a riot of aromas. Hints of fresh yellow flowers blend with fruity notes of ripe plum and delicate notes of tropical fruit: mango and papaya. The olfactory range is completed by notes of aromatic herbs and, in the finish, a hint of crème brulé.
The sip is enveloping, well balanced in its components. The finish is persistent with an aftertaste of pastry and a mineral nuance.
