L’Alberello 2022 – Grattamacco

L'Alberello 2022 - Grattamacco
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: L’Alberello
Variety composition: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc.
Denomination: Toscana I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2022.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a very intense ruby red color, almost impenetrable, good consistency.
On the nose it opens with broad, intense and fine quality scents. The floral notes that recall a pot pourri of moderately withered red flowers are followed by hints of small red berries and plum. The taste is completed by hints of sweet spices, notes of licorice root and, in the finish, an enveloping nuance of Kentucky tobacco.
In the mouth it immediately offers a pleasant softness, freshness and flavor blend perfectly. Good persistence of taste and smell with notes of cardamom and precious spices. A wine that strikes for its elegance.
