Malvasia 2021 – Violati

Malvasia 2021 - Violati
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Malvasia
Variety composition: 100% Malvasia.
Denomination: Narni I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 13,5% vol.
Vintage: 2021.
Serving temperature: 14° – 16° C.

Tasting Notes
Crystal-clear, with a bright golden yellow color and subtle coppery textures.
On the nose it presents floral hints of dog rose, followed by aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit such as peach, apricot and passion fruit. In the finish, hints of aromatic herbs from the dehydrated Mediterranean scrub are highlighted.
The sip is fresh, well-balanced in its components. Freshness and flavor blend together and invite the taster to repeat the sip. A fairly persistent aftertaste of tropical fruit and a balsamic note closes.
