Variety composition: 100% Chardonnay.
Denomination: DOC Friuli Isonzo.
Municipality of production: San Lorenzo (Gorizia).
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2016.
Soil: calcareous gravelly plateau (60 meters above sea level).
Average age of the vines: more than 25 years.
Training system: Guyot 5,200 vines / ha.
Production: 50 hl / ha.
Vineyard: cultivated with organic fertilization and integrated phytosanitary defense (as per EU legislation) with the abolition of chemical weeding.
Harvest period: by hand with careful selection of the bunches (September 2016).
Vinification: fermentation in 500l oak barrels. (22°-24° C), maturation in the same fermentation containers on the fine deposit for 11 months with frequent batonnage. Bottling and aging for at least 12 months.
Aging potential: 20 years
Serving temperature: 11° C.

Tasting Notes/strong>
Crystal-clear, with a lively straw yellow color with golden reflections, consistent.
On the nose the sample is intense, complex and fine. The bouquet of scents is wide: floral, fruity, fragrant. herbaceous, mineral and spicy. Hints of elderflower and acacia, yellow-fleshed fruits such as banana and pineapple, hints of pastry, asparagus and undergrowth, flint and brackish, powdered ginger.
At the sip the sample is balanced in its components, intense, persistent and of fine quality.
It is recommended in combination with roasted rabbit with aromatic herbs.
