Tasting Notes
Limpid, lively ruby red color, consistent.
The nose is intense and quite complex in the range of its scents, of fine quality. It opens with floral notes of violet and iris, followed by notes of dark berry fruits such as black currant, blackberry, but also dried plum and durone cherry. Closing with a nuance of licorice stick.
The sip is elegant, overall balanced in its components, elegant tannins. Quite persistent, an aftertaste of ripe fruit remains with a slight hint of licorice.
It is recommended in combination with unstructured meat dishes.
