Valpolicella 2015 – La Collana dei Ciliegi

Valpolicella 2015 - La Collana dei Ciliegi
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Valpolicella
Varietal: Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella.
Denomination: Valpolicella D.O.C..
Alcohol content: 12,5% vol.
Vintage: 2015.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, intense ruby red color, good consistency.
On the nose, it shows a fairly complex, intense and fine quality range of aromas. Floral notes of dried red wildflowers, hints of small red and black berries reminiscent of blackberry, currant and corn cherry. It closes with a delicate note of sweet spices.
The sip is well balanced in its components, the taste-olfactory persistence is good which gives an aftertaste of ripe fruit.
A pleasant wine, to drink in everyday life throughout the meal.
