Tasting Notes
Limpid, lively ruby red, consistent.
It opens with floral and fruity hints of medium intensity, but overall of fine quality. Notes of ripe fruit almost like jam that recall plums and durane cherries. A pleasant note of sweet spices completes the examination.
The sip is medium-bodied, with a good acidity that gives it a discreet pleasantness. However, a certain roughness remains, certainly not a defect in this case, as it recalls the first wines of the D.O. Rioja.
An interesting wine for its typicality, identifier of a territory for many “forgotten”.
