Badesco 2019 – Bonacchi

Badesco 2019 - Bonacchi
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Badesco
Variety composition: 60% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Denomination: Toscana Rosso I.G.P..
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol..
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with a very intense ruby red color, good consistency.
Upon olfactory examination it opens with a fairly complex but good quality bouquet of scents. The floral scents are intertwined with aromas of small red berries: raspberry, currant, strawberry and hard cherry. The exam is completed, in closing, by a delicate nuance of sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon.
The sip is pleasant, with a non-invasive and overall silky tannin. The balance between the various components is good, it gives a fairly persistent aftertaste of ripe fruit, embellished with a balsamic hint.
