"Seven Oaks" Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 - J. Lohr
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon
Variety composition: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petite Syrah, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot, 4% altri.
Denomination: Paso Robles – California.
Alcoholic strength: 14% vol.
Vintage: 2019.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, with an intense red colour, good consistency.
The nose is complex: it opens with floral hints reminiscent of a pot pourri of red flowers, which are followed by intense aromas of ripening fruit: blackberry, currant and black cherry. The olfactory range is completed by aromas of toasted hazelnuts and an intriguing note of vanilla in the finish.
The smile presents itself in all its elegance. The balance between the various components is good, giving an important and long aftertaste of ripe fruit embellished with delicate notes of spices reminiscent of nutmeg and cinnamon.
