Solengo 2022 – Argiano

Solengo 2022 - Argiano
Written by Piero Pardini

Wine: Solengo
Variety composition: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese.
Denomination: Toscana I.G.T..
Alcoholic strength: 14,5% vol.
Vintage: 2022.
Serving temperature: 16° – 18° C.

Tasting notes
Limpid, with an intense ruby red color embellished with purple textures, consistent.
On the nose it opens with a bouquet of aromas wide and of rare quality. The floral notes are followed by an effluvium of fruity scents: small black berries, dried plum, cherry durone just to name a few. The olfactory range is completed by hints of spices such as nutmeg, cardamom and vanilla, in closing an addictive note of chocolate powder.
The sip is rich, opulent, full-bodied, with an elegant and silky tannin. Sapidity and freshness intertwine giving pleasantness, supported by a persistent and long aftertaste of ripe fruit and fine spices.
A wine that tells the story of the territory and the unique style of the producer.
