Wine: Crebesco
Variety composition: 40% Sangiovese 40% Merlot 20% Syrah.
Alcoholic strength: 14.5% vol.
Vintage: 2017.
Classification: I.G.T..
Production area: Massa Marittima (GR).
Soil type: clayey, calcareous and rich in skeleton.
Training system: spurred cordon.
Plant density: 5,300 plants per hectare.
Yield per hectare: 60/70 quintals of grapes.
Harvest: manual. As for Sangiovese and Syrah, the grapes are dried in the air.
Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature.
Aging: in barriques for a period of 20 months.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.

Tasting Notes
Limpid, very intense ruby red color almost impenetrable and evident purplish textures, consistent.
On the nose the sample opens the bouquet of its hints with notes of a potpourri of delicately withered red flowers, followed by an effluvium of ripe red fruit notes, with delicate notes of toasting reminiscent of fine woods with a slightly balsamic finish.
The sip is opulent, precise tannins, important, but perfectly integrated and smooth. Balanced in its components, what is highlighted in the olfactory examination is confirmed in the sip. Good persistence with a ripe fruit finish.
It is recommended in combination with a larded fillet.
